About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to join our team at First Transit Canada. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, ensuring their well-being and safety throughout the journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Student Support: Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, providing a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Route Navigation: Utilize our industry-leading technology to navigate daily routes and ensure timely arrivals.
Requirements
  • Age and Experience: Be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
  • Communication Skills: Possess good verbal communication skills to effectively interact with students and colleagues.
  • Medical and Background Checks: Undergo and pass a Ministry-prescribed medical examination and background checks.
