About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at DELTA BOYS CONSTRUCTION LTD. as a Construction Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of buildings, from preparation of layouts to installation of finishes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-construction
    • Prepare detailed layouts and plans in accordance with building codes and regulations.
    • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
  • Construction
    • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
    • Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
  • Communication
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
    • Provide clear and concise communication regarding project progress, timelines, and any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • At least 3 years of experience in the building trades industry.
    • Proven track record of delivering high-quality work and meeting deadlines.
  • Language
    • Fluent in English.
  • Work Environment
    • 40 hours per week.
