Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Night Staff: Oversee the activities of night staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance personnel, to ensure seamless hotel operations.
- Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to maximize productivity and minimize errors.
- Perform Same Duties as Workers Supervised: Demonstrate a strong understanding of hotel operations by performing tasks such as checking guests in and out, handling guest complaints, and maintaining accurate records.
- Prepare and Submit Reports: Compile and submit regular reports on hotel operations, including guest feedback, staff performance, and any issues or concerns.
- Resolve Work Problems and Provide Technical Advice: Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the night shift, providing technical guidance and support to staff as needed.
- Assist Clients/Guests with Special Needs: Provide exceptional customer service to guests with special needs, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.
- Coordinate, Assign, and Review Work: Plan and assign tasks to night staff, reviewing their performance and providing feedback to improve their skills and productivity.
- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop night staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Maintain Operation of Computer Systems and Equipment: Ensure the smooth operation of hotel computer systems, equipment, and machinery, arranging for repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Requisition Materials and Supplies: Order and manage the requisition of materials and supplies, ensuring the hotel has the necessary resources to operate efficiently.
- Criminal Record Check: A valid criminal record check is required for this position.
- Work Term: This is a permanent, full-time position.
- Work Language: English is the primary language required for this role.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
