Job Summary

Sanderling Transport is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning and Optimization: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional customer service to clients and colleagues.
  • Teamwork: Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy and work collaboratively with other drivers and logistics staff.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Documentation: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and complete accident or incident reports, bills of lading, driver logbooks, and inspection reports.
Requirements
  • AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
