Job Function Overview

The Jr. Marketing Developer role is an exciting opportunity for growth in a career of Marketing. As a key member of our Marketing Department, you will be responsible for executing and assisting in all initiatives developed by our team. Your primary focus will be on crafting visually appealing digital experiences, from website and print design to interactive marketing materials, photography, and videography.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop eye-catching graphics for digital and print marketing materials, including brochures, social media posts, and email campaigns
- Capture high-quality photography and video of our products and services
- Create a social media calendar, including scheduling and publishing posts in a timely manner
- Monitor and analyze social media analytics
- Design and maintain PowerPoint presentations
- Collaborate with marketing teams to brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
- Update website graphics and copy on gincor.com

Requirements

- Currently enrolled in a university or college Marketing/Media Production course
- Minimum 1 year experience in Marketing (preferred)
- Proven experience in graphic design with a portfolio showcasing a strong design aesthetic
- Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design)
- Familiarity with WordPress, HTML, and CSS (good to have but not essential)
- Self-starter, highly motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written communication skills
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Ability to adapt various communication tones and styles to align with our established brand marketing content
- Experience with photography and video editing software is considered a strong asset
- Knowledge of web development and/or content management platforms is considered an asset (i.e., WordPress, Drupal, WooCommerce, Magento, Craft CMS, etc.)

The majority of the work will be performed in our Marketing Department office, located in Newmarket, Ontario.
