Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Team Lead to join our EssilorLuxottica Group team. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for supporting a Supervisor in overseeing a team of Lab Technicians, providing training and guidance, and resolving issues. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the success of our production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Supervisor in managing the team and ensuring the smooth operation of the production process.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Resolve issues and conflicts within the team in a fair and timely manner.
  • Contribute to the interviewing and selection process for new team members.
  • Support performance management and development of team members.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of related work experience, preferably in production or distribution.
  • Experience in lead roles, including helping the team stay on track and resolving issues.
  • A demonstrated high level of professionalism.
  • High mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • The ability and willingness to learn.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and decimal sequencing.
  • The ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Depth perception and manual dexterity.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

  • This position requires standing and walking for the duration of any shift.
  • You will work with and around chemicals.
  • You will need to be able to lift and move up to 15 lbs. to waist height on a regular basis.
  • We are customer-driven, so we may require flexibility in working overtime as needed, possibly including weekends.
