Material Handler

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at EMCO Corporation. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products throughout our warehouse and distribution center.
Key Responsibilities- Picking, packing, and shipping customer orders with accuracy and efficiency
- Receiving and verifying incoming vendor shipments and customer returns
- Loading and unloading trucks, operating forklifts, and other material handling equipment
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies and damaged/defective materials
- Collaborating with teammates to achieve exceptional customer service and satisfaction
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; college and/or university degree an asset
- A minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience
- Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills
- Able to develop comprehensive product knowledge
- Ability to learn to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
- Possess a high level of attention to detail and accurately process orders
- Able to learn and operate the applicable software system used to process orders
- Intermediate math skills
