Job Title: General Construction Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced General Construction Supervisor to join our team at Planet Wood Exteriors Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate costs and materials for construction projects
  • Prepare production and other reports to track project progress
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Work with project supervisors or managers to coordinate activities and ensure smooth project execution
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on all construction sites
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and deadlines
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed
  • Supervise workers and projects to ensure high-quality results
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure workers have the necessary skills
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction or a related field
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Physical ability to work in a construction environment
Working Conditions:
  • Overtime required
  • Work under pressure
