Welcome to Apptoza Inc. We are a dynamic team of experts in the field of data analysis and engineering, and we are currently seeking a talented AWS Data Engineer to join our team.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. This role is based in Toronto, ON, and offers a hybrid work arrangement with 3 days onsite.

The successful candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing data pipelines on cloud platforms (preferably AWS), handling large datasets from diverse sources, including tasks like data cleaning and validation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing ETL processes using Python and SQL, and leveraging AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, S3, EC2, IAM, and monitoring tools like AWS CloudWatch for setting up alerts.
  • Deploying applications on the cloud, including integrating CI/CD pipelines for building artifacts and promoting changes to higher environments.
  • Working with scheduling frameworks like Apache Airflow and AWS Step Functions to streamline data processing workflows.
