About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Landscape Labourer to join our team at H J Landscaping Ltd. as an entry-level position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the construction and maintenance of landscapes, including weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Cut and maintain grass, remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials.
  • Lay sod or seed, plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and apply fertilizers as needed.
  • Repair and maintain equipment, and operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, ensuring they receive the necessary care and attention.
Work Environment

As a Landscape Labourer, you will work in various locations, including private residences, and will be required to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.

Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a willingness to learn and train is essential.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, with a permanent work term.
  • Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
