Job Title: Household Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Household Assistant to join our team at Edith's Household. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our home.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Household Chores: Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris, and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry and Linens: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability.
Working Conditions:
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home.
  • Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
