Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Hampton Inn Suites by Hilton Thunder Bay. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of cleaning staff to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities: Conduct regular inspections of our hotel facilities to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary repairs and maintenance.
  • Prepare Budgets and Estimates: Develop and manage budgets for cleaning supplies and services, as well as estimate costs for special cleaning projects.
  • Coordinate Services: Arrange for additional services such as painting, repair work, and renovations as needed.
  • Manage Financial Records: Maintain accurate financial records for cleaning services and supplies.
  • Assist Cleaners: Provide support and guidance to cleaning staff as needed.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
