The Role:

We are seeking a technical sales professional with expertise in customer business drivers to adopt the Algo Communications platform. The Solutions Engineer will act as a trusted advisor and play a key role in delivering solutions to our customers. This individual will serve as the lead advocate for customers, translating technical needs into product development, recommending solutions, testing customer environments, and driving customer demand internally within Algo Communications.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop a clear understanding of the customer's business and people practices by following solution sales best practices.
  2. Recommend integration strategies, solution architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement solutions with Algo's VoIP technologies and products.
  3. Develop and maintain deep knowledge and understanding of Algo's existing and future products and services.
  4. Partner with the Algo Sales team by owning all technical aspects of the opportunity.
  5. Technically qualify business opportunities, raise key customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers with the product engineering team.
  6. Support the technical relationship with Algo customers, including product and solution demos, proof-of-concept work.
  7. Partner directly with the engineering team to prioritize new features and technical developments.
Requirements:
  1. 5+ years of technical experience in client-facing sales, presales, consulting, or technical architect roles.
  2. 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role required.
  3. Previous experience in Telecom, Networking, VoIP, or paging.
  4. Strong business acumen and executive presence.
  5. In-depth knowledge of traditional voice communications systems and applications.
  6. Excellent communication skills.
  7. Ability to create, present, and document technical solutions.
  8. Ability to present topics in a clear and concise manner to various levels of technical skill sets and audience sizes.
  9. Expert-level solution sales ability.
  10. Understanding of Algo Communications partner and ecosystem partners, products, and applications.
  11. Mentor developing team members.
  12. Act as a leader when the situation warrants.
  13. Be flexible and able to function in a high-growth environment.
