Drywall Installation Job Description

Holyheart Construction Inc. is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, cutting and fitting them to meet specifications, and ensuring a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install drywall sheets in various locations, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Cut and fit drywall sheets to meet specifications, using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Mix and apply joint compound to fill joints, nail indentations, and holes.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow it to dry, ensuring a seamless finish.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in drywall installation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent physical stamina, with the ability to lift heavy loads and work at heights.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Work Environment:

This is a permanent position, working 30-40 hours per week. The work environment is varied, with opportunities to work on different projects and with different teams.
