About the Role:
As a Healthcare Courier, you will be responsible for performing drop-offs and pick-ups between Quinte Healthcare sites, documenting courier runs, and utilizing 2-way radio communication and cellphone technology. You will also deliver time-sensitive items between hospitals and provide above-average customer service to all contacts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform drop-offs and pick-ups between Quinte Healthcare sites
• Document courier runs, including detailed report writing and note-taking
• Utilize 2-way radio communication and cellphone technology
• Deliver time-sensitive items between hospitals
• Provide exceptional customer service to all contacts
Requirements:
• Valid driver's license (Class G or equivalent)
• Clean driver's abstract
• Ability to lift up to 50LBS
• Ability to walk extended periods of time
• Proficient in English (both oral and written) communication
• Proof of COVID-19 double vaccination
• Immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2)
• Ability to be clean-shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test
• Certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
