We are seeking an experienced Building Automation System Specialist to join our team at BGIS. As a leading provider of customized facility management and real estate services, we offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with clients and team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. This includes developing and implementing project and service strategies to meet annual performance goals and objectives.

We are looking for a highly skilled individual with a strong understanding of HVAC equipment and mechanical components, as well as extensive knowledge and experience with Building Automation System (BAS) installations. The ideal candidate will also have a solid understanding of network wiring standards and protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project and service strategies to meet annual performance goals and objectives;
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with clients and team members;
  • Plan, develop, implement, mentor, and lead field team members in support of the BAS Manager;
  • Contribute to the interviewing and hiring of experienced individuals, as well as their training and development;
  • Schedule and coordinate installation, commissioning, and testing of BAS systems;
  • Verify system performance through simulation sequences and programming;
  • Inspect, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage power equipment and systems;
  • Perform inspections, tests, adjustments, and evaluations of low-voltage electronic components and assemblies;
Requirements
  • Technician, diploma Technologist diploma or Engineering degree in a related technological field to BAS;
  • Strong understanding of HVAC equipment/mechanical components and how they relate to control strategies and theories;
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with BAS system installations;
  • Extensive knowledge of network wiring standards and protocols;
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is between $65,000 and $90,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and career development opportunities.
