Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety and Compliance: Cultivate a culture of safety where employees and management have a common goal of zero injuries.
  • Quality and Productivity: Execute good manufacturing practices while promoting a safe working environment and maintaining sanitation standards (GMP and HAACP) through supervision of all phases of warehousing, shipping, and receiving of products and supplies.
  • Operations Excellence: Develop and drive Operations Excellence Plans to help meet safety, quality, and production goals and show continuous improvement throughout the facility.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: Support the continuous improvement activities and act as a change agent for any changes that occur in the facility.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain understanding of warehouse capacities, monitor daily levels, and plan future moves.


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Bachelor's degree preferred or commensurate work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in warehousing, oil refining, oil packaging operations, or related and applicable activities.
  • Proficiency with basic computer skills, including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word, and other technical software packages, as needed.
  • Transportation/distribution or logistics experience.
  • Exceptional customer service and team building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
