About the Role:

As a School Bus Driver at First Transit Canada, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school. Our team of professional drivers is dedicated to providing reliable and quality services to over 1,100 school districts across North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections to prioritize vehicle maintenance
  • Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, providing support and care
  • Operate school buses safely and efficiently, adhering to industry-leading technology and protocols

Requirements:

  • Good verbal communication skills and ability to interact with students and colleagues
  • At least 21 years old and a valid driver's license for at least 1 year
  • Undergo and pass a Ministry-prescribed medical examination and background checks
