We are seeking a highly skilled Natural Resources Management Specialist to join our team at BC Hydro.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in natural resources management and policy, with a focus on environmental preservation, conservation, and restoration.

This is a hybrid role, requiring both in-person and remote work. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic environment and will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

About the Role

This position involves tasks and responsibilities contributing to positive environmental outcomes and helping Canada achieve its net-zero target.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies for environmental preservation, conservation, and restoration.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for sustainable practices.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform decision-making related to natural resource management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies or a related field.
  • 5 years or more of experience in natural resources management and policy.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
