Concrete Finisher

RIO EXCAVATION & WATER PROOF LTD is seeking a skilled Trade Assistant - Concrete Finishing to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting experienced finishers with the finishing of concrete applications, ensuring high-quality results and meeting project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist experienced finishers with the finishing of concrete applications
- Ensure high-quality results and meet project timelines
- Perform tasks that require no degree, certificate, or diploma
- Gain 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade
Work Site Environment:
The role involves working in various environments, including dusty, at heights, cold/refrigerated, dangerous, hot, noisy, outdoors, and wet/damp conditions. You will also work with different types of materials, such as colours and sealers, hardners and epoxies, light weight concrete, mastic flooring, reinforcing membrane and protective covering.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
The role requires you to be physically demanding, handling heavy loads, bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. You will also need to have attention to detail, sound discrimination, and the ability to work in a team environment.
