About the RoleAs a Canola Seed Production Summer Associate, you will be responsible for working with growers within your assigned regions to produce high-quality InVigor canola for market. This will involve monitoring the health of the crop as it matures, scouting fields for weed, disease, and insect pressure, and providing agronomic advice to growers.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor crop health and provide recommendations for improvement
- Scout fields for pests and diseases and develop strategies for control
- Collaborate with growers to develop and implement effective agronomic practices
- Provide technical support and guidance to growers on certified seed production
- Agronomic knowledge and experience in the agriculture industry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
