We are seeking a skilled Sound Technician to join our team at South Asian Broadcasting Corporation Inc.

Job Summary:

The Sound Technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining audio equipment, setting up and testing sound systems, and ensuring high-quality audio production for our broadcasts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate electronic equipment that transmits radio and television programs or motion pictures
  • Operate electronic equipment that transmits video conferencing or multimedia presentations
  • Operate mixing, dubbing, editing machinery and equipment
  • Operate audio consoles or computers, tape machines, microphones and sound processing equipment at concerts and live events
  • Operate audio-visual or electronic equipment
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • 40 hours per week
  • English as the primary language of work
Work Environment:

The Sound Technician will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring strong attention to detail and sound discrimination skills.
