About the Job

Cobrafer Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Carpenter with experience in concrete forms to join our team. As a Carpenter - Concrete Forms Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare layouts and designs for construction projects using measuring tools and software
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites
  • Survey building locations and levels
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on carpentry and concrete forms techniques
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Operate computer-aided design (CADD) and other software systems
Work Environment

As a Carpenter - Concrete Forms Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1-2 years of experience in carpentry and concrete forms
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty conditions
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
