The Waterloo Catholic District School Board is seeking a qualified Occasional Teacher to fill a Long Term Occasional Teaching Opportunity in a hybrid schedule at St. Daniel. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and planning in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and plan in a hybrid schedule, with 50% afternoons and 100% all-day sessions
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals and improve student outcomes
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Primary qualifications are preferred, but Junior or Intermediate qualifications will be considered
- Must hold a valid Ontario College of Teachers' Certificate of Qualification
- Must have a Roman Catholic baptismal certificate or confirmation letter from the Parish
- Must have a Declaration of Commitment form
- Must have two (2) professional academic references
