Part-Time Integrated Playout Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Integrated Playout Operator to join our team at Rogers Sports & Media. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of live sports and entertainment content across all media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage automation playlists, device integration, and content ingest to ensure seamless delivery of live content.
  • Liaise with programming, traffic, creative, and production teams to plan and execute content.
  • Maintain quality control of the Master Control path for delivery to customers.
  • Provide clear reporting of on-air impacts and technical deficiencies.
  • Assist the engineering team in solving technical problems.
  • Adhere to all broadcast policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Excellent understanding of studio and remote broadcast production.
  • Ability to react quickly in a fast-paced broadcast environment.
  • Knowledge of North American and European sports.
  • Experience with Imagine Automation.
  • Familiarity with Grass Valley and Arvato MAM systems.
  • This position requires shift work, including overnights, weekends, and holidays.
