We are seeking a skilled Concrete Forms Carpenter to join our team at Brenta Forming and Framing. As a Concrete Forms Carpenter, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Reading and interpreting specifications or following verbal instructions
  • Moving tools, equipment, and other materials
  • Organizing tasks to accomplish the work
Work Environment:

As a Concrete Forms Carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. You will be required to work with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and will be physically demanding. You will also be required to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Manual dexterity
  • Ability to work independently
