About the Role

The Senior Product Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive growth and profitability across the True North Seafood portfolio. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, analyze market trends, and develop targeted solutions.

Responsibilities

  1. Product Development: Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop new products and improve existing ones, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  2. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  3. Supply Chain Optimization: Work with suppliers and logistics teams to ensure seamless product flow, minimizing disruptions and maximizing efficiency.
  4. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, communicating effectively and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements

  1. 2+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in seafood or a related industry.
  2. Excellent understanding of seafood products, markets, and supply chains.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  4. Collaborative mindset and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  5. Ability to travel globally, as required.
