Role Description:

$95,000 - $110,000 per year

In British Columbia, we're seeking a skilled Environmental Project Manager to join our Resilience Team as part of our Evaluation and Restoration (ER) Division.

As a key member of our ER division, you will provide project management services for environmental site assessments, contaminated site investigations, feasibility studies, remediation design and implementation, hydrogeological studies, monitoring programs, and other related projects. Your technical expertise in environmental compliance and regulatory frameworks will be instrumental in ensuring our clients meet provincial and federal requirements.

This is a hybrid role with opportunities to work remotely or from one of our Arcadis offices. You'll be required to travel occasionally for project kick-off meetings, client meetings, and in-office collaborations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate environmental site assessments, contaminated site investigations, and feasibility studies.
  • Develop and implement field programs, analyze data, write reports, and present results to clients.
  • Provide technical advice and support for ongoing business pursuits and environmental projects in various sectors.
  • Maintain and support quality, health and safety, and performance management systems.
  • Manage and mentor intermediate and junior staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geoscience, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in contaminated site management, site remediation, risk management, and environmental monitoring.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Profession Geoscientist (P.Geo.) designation in British Columbia is preferred.
