Retail Sales Associate - Merchandise Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Sun Blinds Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, discuss their needs and preferences, and provide personalized recommendations to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
  • Merchandise Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, restock shelves as needed, and assist with visual merchandising to create an attractive and engaging store environment.
  • Sales Transactions: Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately, including handling cash, credit card payments, and other payment methods.
  • Quote and Price Estimates: Provide detailed quotes and price estimates to customers, ensuring that all requirements are met and exceeded.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and maintain stock levels, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to minimize waste and maximize sales.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-6 months of retail sales experience, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong product knowledge, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
