Job Title: Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join our team at DMA Logistics Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our logistics department, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency.
  • Monitor department performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
  • Plan for changes to schedules and policies, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare reports for senior management, including cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Recruit and supervise staff, providing training and development opportunities.
  • Arrange for shipping documentation and the tracking and tracing of goods in transit.
  • Ensure transport compliance with regulations, including safety and security protocols.
  • Negotiate for services and preferential rates with suppliers and carriers.
  • Oversee the setting of transportation service rates and monitor revenue.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment:

The Logistics Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with a large caseload and workload. The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
