Volunteer Roles

  • Administrative/Clerical Volunteer: Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing.
  • Community Outing Volunteer: Accompany residents on outings and provide companionship.
  • Recreation Activities & Special Events Volunteer: Plan and lead recreational activities and special events.
  • Meal Enhancement (Feeding Assistance) Volunteer: Assist with meal preparation and feeding assistance.
  • Music Program Volunteer: Lead music programs and activities.
  • Friendly Visiting Volunteer: Visit with residents and provide companionship.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Teamwork: Ability to work with a variety of people.
  • Good communication and listening skills.
  • Empathy and understanding towards residents.
  • Confidentiality: Understand the need for confidentiality.
  • Positive attitude and friendly manner.
  • Reliability and consistency.
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
