About the Role

The Purchasing Data Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and accurate management of construction data to support business operations at Mattamy Homes. This position requires a strong analytical mind and excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal departments and provide a positive experience for customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and ensure consistency of existing set-ups, master codes, and descriptions for all homeowner and trade-facing materials.
  • Support the Design Studio in identifying, pricing, and setting up new products, materials, and processes.
  • Liaise with Architecture to ensure complete and accurate data is received and ready for input prior to sales launches.
  • Extract and format budget reports from JDE for VP and DP level approvals.
  • Develop and maintain weekly and monthly reporting that highlights the department's latest outlook vs pre-launch proformas and 5-year plan.
  • Provide administrative support to the Contracts Managers and Department VP.

Requirements

  • Degree or certification in Information Management, Data Analytics, or similar education.
  • 2+ years of progressive experience working with data management specialization.
  • In-depth knowledge of data retrieval, data scrubs, and overall data management.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude required.
  • Self-motivated, prioritizes tasks, and works independently with minimum supervision.
