The Government of Alberta is seeking highly skilled professionals to fill the roles of Government Liaison Officers within Alberta Parks. These positions offer a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional customer service and support to visitors.

As a Government Liaison Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving knowledge to provide accurate, concise, and relevant information on recreational activities, park facilities, services, park programs, public safety issues, tourism, and travel opportunities. This includes receiving, responding, and managing customer service issues, concerns, complaints, emergencies, and other feedback professionally and appropriately.

You will work closely with other departments to ensure operational and visitor needs are met. To succeed in this role, you should possess a high school diploma and one year of combined customer service and supervisory experience. Additionally, you will require intermediate (standard) first aid and CPR Level C + AED certification, a criminal record check, and a valid Class 5 driver's license with a current 3-year driver's abstract showing no more than six demerits.

This is a seasonal wage opportunity starting in April or May and ending in September or October 2025, with contract terms dependent on location and operational needs. All positions require evenings, weekends, and holiday work as scheduled.
