Truck Driver

At REDFORT LOGISTICS CORP., we are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious driver to transport goods and materials across the country. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class 1 or A driver's license, air brakes endorsement, and experience with straight trucks and GPS navigation equipment.
Responsibilities- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload goods, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
- Operate and maintain vehicles, including performing brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
- Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- Pay and receive payments for goods, and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
- Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo, and transporting and handling dangerous goods
- Valid Class 1 or A driver's license
- Air brakes endorsement
- Experience with straight trucks and GPS navigation equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
