We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Janasi Industries Ltd. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and equipment for our manufacturing and industrial plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical systems and equipment for our manufacturing and industrial plant operations
  • Supervise and inspect the installation and operation of electrical systems and equipment
  • Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical systems and equipment
  • Investigate electrical or electronic failures
  • Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for construction or maintenance
  • Commission systems and components
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience
  • Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SolidWorks software
  • Knowledge of business intelligence and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Experience with supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems
