Building Caretaker Job Description
**Job Summary**
Associa is seeking a skilled Building Caretaker to join our team. As a Building Caretaker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our residential rental building. This is a live-in position, and you will be working closely with our tenants to ensure their needs are met.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Maintain the cleanliness of all common areas, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, elevator cleaning, and garbage removal
* Engage with tenants to resolve any issues or concerns they may have
* Maintain accurate records and submit required paperwork in a timely manner
* Perform routine building maintenance and repairs
* Conduct move-in and move-out inspections
**Requirements**
* Minimum one year of experience in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Good knowledge of building maintenance and operations functions
* Knowledge of the Rental Tenancy Act
* Valid driver's license
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Strong organizational skills
* Ability to work weekends as required
