Job Summary

We are seeking an Electromechanical Technician to join our team at Bell and Howell Canada Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of electromechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electromechanical systems, including motors, pumps, and other equipment.
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve issues with electromechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure seamless operation of electromechanical systems.
  • Develop and implement procedures for the maintenance and repair of electromechanical systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of electromechanical systems and their components.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of electromechanical systems. The work will involve frequent travel to different locations and may require working at heights or in confined spaces.
