Job Overview
Kiewit Nuclear Solutions is a leading provider of engineering, project management, and construction services in the nuclear industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Work Package Planner to join our team in Toronto, Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including critical path logic networks and resource allocation
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, designers, and construction managers to ensure project deliverables are met
- Assess the impact of design changes and schedule slippages on project timelines and budgets
- Lead the development of resource-loaded schedules, including activity lists, milestones, and critical approvals
- Interface with clients and stakeholders to provide project updates and progress reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction scheduling, with a proven track record of leadership and project delivery
- Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes, and standards
- Proficiency in project controls software, including Excel, Primavera, and other company-specific tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
