About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Underwriting Manager to join our team at Northbridge Financial Corporation. As an Underwriting Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of underwriters and customizing solutions for our commercial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of underwriters to achieve regional goals for profitability and desirable business production.
- Customize solutions for commercial clients and lead the execution of the operational business plan.
- Work closely with the Actuarial and Claims Departments to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain a professional relationship with our Sales team.
- Coach and mentor underwriters to improve their skills and career growth.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Underwriting experience.
- Minimum 3 years leadership experience.
- Experience leading or mentoring a team.
- Completed, or pursuing, CIP, FCIP, or RPLU designations.
- Strong customer service background.
