Job Title: Bookkeeping Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeping Clerk to join our team at Red River Carpet & Flooring. As a Bookkeeping Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Payroll Administration: Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including trial balance and statistical reports.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in accounting software, MS Excel, and MS Office.
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent position with a 30-40 hour workweek. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
