We're seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hospitality Specialist – Front Office. As the face of our organization, this role requires strong communication skills, a passion for delivering world-class service, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Job Summary:
The Hospitality Specialist – Front Office will be responsible for managing the front desk operations, ensuring seamless guest check-ins and check-outs, and maintaining accurate records and reports. This role requires collaboration with other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences and meeting deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Manage front desk operations, including checking guests in/out, collecting balances, and posting room charges.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including cash handling and inventory management.
- Collaborate with other departments to deliver seamless guest experiences.
- Perform opening and closing procedures for the credit card machines and cashier audit reports.
- Balance the cash drawer, process advance deposits, and reconcile transactions from other departments.
- Order office supplies as needed and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Enter maintenance and service requests into the system promptly.
- Make reservations, room moves, and stay-over requests to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Run reports, correct errors, and perform other tasks as directed by management.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in the Resort/Hotel industry; Timeshare knowledge preferred.
- Basic computer skills and excellent customer service abilities.
- Bilingual language skills are a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, with minimal supervision.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
