Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented ROV Pilot Technician to join our team at DOF Subsea Canada. As a key member of our offshore operations team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) in various marine environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • ROV Operations: Perform all tasks assigned by the Operational ROV Supervisor during ROV operations, maintenance, repair, and preparation.
  • Quality, Safety, and Environment: Ensure adherence to DOF Subsea's Personal Record of Competence and implement internal and external quality, safety, health, and environment requirements during tasks.
  • Project Participation: Participate in projects and complete tasks as required, adhering to separate functional descriptions and guidance.
  • Business Management System: Familiarize and adhere to all guidance and instructions outlined in the BMS.
  • ROV System Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain the ROV system in accordance with procedures and standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience with work-class ROV systems.
  • Education: Post-secondary education with a primary focus in ROV, Electrical, Engineering Technology, Mechanic, or equivalent/related experience or training.
  • Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of Technical Specifications and Standards within the renewables industry, level of technical knowledge in computer and electronic interfacing, experience with technical testing and troubleshooting.
  • Soft Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to multitask under pressure, excellent communicator, and ability to work in a team environment.
