As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver individualized care that addresses the physical and emotional needs of our patients.

About the Team:

The Orthopaedic Oncology team at Sinai Health System provides comprehensive care to patients diagnosed with sarcoma, including surgical management, chemotherapy, and palliative care. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and supporting our patients throughout their journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and prioritize the needs of patients with orthopaedic trauma and sarcoma.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the physical and emotional needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.

Requirements:

  • Current certificate of registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Graduate of a CNO-approved bachelor's degree in nursing program, or equivalent combined education and experience.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Certification in provincial standardized chemotherapy and biotherapy administration through the de Souza Institute, or must be willing to complete chemotherapy certification course within 1 year of hire.
