Job Summary:

The Dispatch Logisticien will be responsible for coordinating the operational logistics of our organization, including planning and organizing warehouse activities, tracking and completing work orders, and maintaining work records and logs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compile orders and instructions received from customers and plan and organize operational logistics of the organization.
  • Track and complete work orders, and maintain work records and logs.
  • Co-ordinate activities with warehouse and production units, and co-ordinate traffic flow of supplies.
  • Compile worksheets and specifications of orders, and consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner.
  • Project management, and keep track of shipments.
  • Maintain knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations, and maintain vehicle operator work records.
  • Schedule assignments and co-ordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews and equipment, and organize and maintain inventory.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, attention to detail, and repetitive tasks.
