Job Summary

The Heavy Equipment Operator – Gradall is a critical member of our construction team, responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires a high level of skill and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Gradall equipment in a safe and appropriate manner, following manufacturer's operational manual and company safety protocols.
  • Work in congested areas with pedestrians, vehicles, and other contractors, maintaining a calm and alert attitude at all times.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and other technical documents to ensure accurate and efficient operation of equipment.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of excavation, grading, and granular materials, as well as methods and techniques required for effective operation.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.

Requirements

  • Two to three years of experience operating Gradall equipment in the road construction industry.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
  • Working knowledge of excavation, grading, and granular materials.
  • Working knowledge of methods and techniques required for effective operation.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Ability to maintain a calm and alert attitude in congested areas.

Working Conditions

The Heavy Equipment Operator – Gradall will work in a variety of environments, including construction sites, warehouses, and other industrial settings. The operator will be exposed to noise, dust, and other hazards associated with heavy equipment operation.
