We are seeking a skilled Shift Manager to join our culinary team at Ontario Inc. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training and development.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and orders are placed in a timely manner.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing regular reports to management.
- Establish work schedules and coordinate with staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- 1-2 years of experience in a food service management role.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
