Job Overview
Bayshore HealthCare is a reputable organization seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join its team. This role plays a vital part in supporting the Controllership unit, focusing on month-end closing processes, financial reporting, and external audits.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly balance sheet account analysis and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Enter and analyze financial information for the month-end closing process, identifying variances and determining their causes.
- Participate in year-end audits and review processes, contributing to the organization's financial integrity.
- Develop and maintain accounting systems, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with teams, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Financial Planning and Analysis, to achieve shared goals.
- Engage in ongoing education activities to stay updated on industry developments and best practices.
- Maintain confidentiality of client and corporate information, sharing it only with authorized personnel.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in an accounting program.
- Working towards CPA designation is advantageous.
- Two years of related accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with Microsoft Navision are assets.
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Compensation and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience. Additional benefits include opportunities for professional growth, a dynamic work environment, and a comprehensive compensation package.
