Job Overview:


We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Associate to join our team at Emphasys Software, where you will play a crucial role in optimizing cash flow and improving financial management processes.



About the Role:


This is a full-time position that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. As an Accounting Associate, you will be responsible for handling entry-level accounting duties, including managing customer billing and collections, preparing financial reports, and assisting with tax filings and accounts receivable/payable.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage Plurilogics customer billing and collections each month;
  • Solve discrepancies between bills sent and received which may include communicating with external parties or vendors;
  • Prepare financial reports for analysis by the Portfolio Controller;
  • Assist with tax filings, accounts receivables, accounts payables, and bonus/commission processing for employees;
  • Track company spending and help minimize waste;
  • Gather necessary information and create reports to help management make strategic decisions;
  • Assist with bookkeeping tasks, clerical tasks, and other duties as assigned;


Requirements:


To succeed in this role, you should have:



  • 1+ year(s) of experience in Accounting or related role;
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance;
  • Bilingual (English and French);
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products including Excel;
  • Customer service skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Analytical mindset and detail-oriented;
  • Thrives off a dynamic work environment;


What We Offer:


As an Accounting Associate at Emphasys Software, you can expect a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on your experience.
