Food Service Supervisor

At Ontario Inc. O/A Quesada Burritos & Tacos, we are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient scheduling systems to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Lead and motivate our food service team to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
- Train Staff in Job Duties, Sanitation, and Safety Procedures: Provide comprehensive training to new staff members to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties safely and effectively.
- Estimate Ingredient and Supplies Required for Meal Preparation: Accurately forecast ingredient and supply needs to minimize waste and ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Ensure Food and Service Meet Quality Control Standards: Maintain the highest standards of food quality and customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
- Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints, resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Maintain Records of Stock, Repairs, Sales, and Wastage: Accurately record and analyze sales data, inventory levels, and waste to inform business decisions.
- Prepare and Submit Reports: Provide regular reports to management on key performance indicators, including sales, inventory, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
- 1 Year to Less Than 2 Years: Minimum 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Permanent: Full-time position with a permanent contract.
- 32 Hours per Week: Work 32 hours per week, with a regular schedule and opportunities for overtime.
