Job Description:
The Senior Software Engineer will play a key role in designing, developing, and supporting a range of applications at Ontario Health. The successful candidate will have expertise in software development, including design, implementation, and testing of software solutions. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions to meet those needs.

  • Provides subject matter expertise and guides junior technical team members within the project/product team.
  • Delivers high-quality software solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Collaborates with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Develops and maintains technical documentation, including system design documents and user manuals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in software development, including experience with agile development methodologies. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Additionally, you should have a strong understanding of software security principles and quality assurance testing techniques.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
  • 5-7 years of relevant technical experience developing software solutions.
  • Expertise in software development tools and frameworks, including API orchestration and DevOps build, CI/CD workflows.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages, such as Java or C++.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
